At first we wanted to go over to KLCC to spend some time together. But since we both were craving for the famous Bukit Bintang chicken rice, we head towards BB area instead.

While walking along Bintang Walk

Planet Hollywood comes to life.

Geena going up into Star Hill.

for everyone
I have always been facinated by magic. I love magic since I was a kid. I grew up knowing and admiring David Copperfield, who is one of the best magicians in the world. I even went to see his show when he performed in PWTC many many years ago. I even learned a few tricks myself to fool my buddies. Let it be card tricks or coin tricks, those I've learnt were just tricks, not magic.

Then comes a young new magician name David Blaine. Now he's different. Instead of performing on stage in-front of live audience, he performs his tricks on the streets, hence the term Street Magic. What I like about David Blaine is that he doesn't use props and most of his tricks are spontanious. Besides magic, he sometimes challeged himself into doing what people think as crazy and what Malaysians would say.."Got nothing better to do ah? Siau.". One example would be freezing his ass in huge block of ice. Nothing to eat and almost impossible to sleep in the position he was in. Also in Vertigo, where he stood up on a pillar for few days before jumping down into a pile of empty boxes on the last day. Those were just endurance, where he always challanged himself to see how far he can push himself. There's nothing "magic" happening there, except that we share his success. But I still admired him as a magician rather than a performer.

Now, I have a new favourite. His name is Cyril Takayama from Japan. He is said to be the Japanese version of David Blaine simply because he is also a street magician...only better. It's a good thing that he is fluent in English so at least I can understand what he is doing or going to do while performing his tricks. Most of his trick are spontanious, similar to David Blaine. But sometimes when watching his magic tricks, everything seems so real. Like the one when he changed a bowl of fried rice into a steaming hot bowl of Udon noodles right before your very eyes. I know there should be a trick somewhere, but I can't seem to point my finger on it. It's too real to be called a trick. Wanna watch some of his tricks? Some of this magic tricks are distributed in the Internet and most of them are in YouTube website. If you don't believe me, go check it out yourself. I also have some of his clips in my videos section.

David Copperfield? David Blaine? I don't know them anymore. Hehehe. Now...make way for Cyril Takayama.

Digital Mall....SS14 PJ

At last! I don't have to go all the way to Low Yat to buy stuffs for my PC or any other digital devices. It will all be right here in PJ SS14 when the new Digital Mall opens up next month...or end of this month I think. Come to think of it, they will have a pre-opening event happening on 9th August 2006 (which is tomorrow). This will be my next favourite hangout spot. Sipping Latte at the Coffee Beans while gawking at the latest gadgets. What more can I ask for..?
